A book
Well, I am fond of reading; I have read lots of books, such as “gone with the wind”, “Jane Eyre” when I was young. All of those books influence me greatly. But I have read my favorite book when I was in the senior school in fact just last year. It serves as a turning point in my life. It was the emotional bond between parents and kids that impressed me most. The book tells a story about how deeply a poor mother loved her child. Working hard everyday earn enough money to support her son. I was deeply touched by the story, and it changed my attitude to my parents. You know, as the only child in my family, my parents treated me as the queen. Whenever I want something they just gave it to me. Those days I couldn’t understand the love they gave me. I thought it was deserved. But after I read the book I finally know that parents love us for no return, and we are supposed to love them either. To take care of them at anytime just like the way they looked after us when we are young.

人物类侧重于对几类人的提及，famous person, old person, children
地点类则偏向于一个有趣的地方，美丽的地方，有历史风韵的地方等。
事件类围绕发生在你身上最难忘的一件事。
物品类和高科技类有些结合之处，即时下最流行的高科技产品的介绍，或是一个对你很有影响的东西。
高科技类则单纯围绕社会发展中最熟悉的问题进行详细描述。

你参加雅思考试进行注册时,考官会给你张纸条要你签字,上面会有你的口试时间、地点、考号。按时进入等候区后,当考官把你叫入考场(教室)时,考试开始。考生和考官隔着桌子面对面坐着。考官坐下的同时也会打开录音器,调好时间。考试开始后,考官会询问考生的全名并要求考生出示身份证件(如护照、考生证),目的在于保证考官正确地执行了考试程序。 考试分为三个部分。首先是一般交谈(introduction),接着是个人陈述(individual long-turn),最后是双向讨论(two-way discussion). 第一部分:一般交谈(4-5分钟) 进入考场后,考生与考官互致问候。在核对身份后,考官会问一些关于考生生活、背景等的基本问题。 第二部分:个人陈述(3-4分钟) 考官给考生一张话题卡(cue card)。考生有1分钟准备时间,并可以做笔记(考官会给你笔和纸)。之后考生要做1-2分钟的陈述。考生讲完后,考官会就考生的阐述内容提一两个相关问题,由考生做简要回答。 第三部分:双向讨论(4-5分钟) 考官与考生围绕由第二部分引申出来的一些比较抽象的话题进行讨论。第三部分的话题是对第二部分提示卡内容的深化和拓展。 完后,与考官互相道别,出门。雅思考试结束。
