?英语交流：
　　英语至少需要4000词汇量可以正常交流。

　　还有人做过统计，在母语为英语的国家，人们完成日常交流的词汇量也在4,000上下。所以，从幼儿园开始就读国际学校，或生活在双语环境中的孩子，虽然没有经过专门的阅读训练，但是在小学物五六年级的时候一般都可以比较流畅地阅读英文原版的儿童或青少年读物。

　　这个现象也跟4000单词分水岭的原理密切相关。因为这个词汇量也是英语可以达到比较流畅的日常交流所需要的词汇量。国际学校或双语氛围能够提供的基本保证就是这个水平的词汇量，因此，阅读普通的青少年读物无需孩子付出太多额外的努力。

　　拥有4000词汇量，英文驶入快车道

　　由此看来，一旦达到4000左右的词汇量，英文水平将产生一次质的突破，无论是口头交流还是文本阅读，都将实现一定程度上自由。

　　于是，更多运用语言的机会随之而产生，这将导致接下来学习进入一个良性阶段—仅从阅读方面来说，新单词在阅读中不断被习得，单词量的增加又导致更难的文本阅读成为可能，单词的增长和英文水平的整体提升将进入一个快车道。

　　其实就正常交流而言，也得分什么几种情况：日常生活正常交流、一般工作正常交流、商务工作正常交流。

　　1. 日常生活交流：如果只是想满足日常生活正常交流的话，对于单词量基本没有什么太高的要求，掌握800个核心单词左右，基本上出门买东西、吃饭等日常生活是完全没有任何问题了的。这是属于最基本日常交流，对于词汇没什么要求，在词汇的记忆上也主要是以一些简单的词汇为主。

　　2. 一般工作正常交流：这一层次比日常生活交流要高那么一些，单词可能会涉及到一些专业的词汇，因为工作中有一些特有的术语，此外，对于词汇量的要求也会相应的增加，一般在1500个单词左右即可。

　　3. 商务工作正常交流：商务工作对于语言的正式性，专业性都有着一定的要求，因此在单词的要求上基本多数都会是专业的词汇，对于词汇量的要求也会大量提升，因为商务工作本就是一些很复杂的工作，词汇量的话一般要求在3000个单词以上即可。

　　对于英语口语的交流来说，词汇固然是很重要的，不过自己对于英语思维、英语发音的锻炼同样不能拉下。
