　　雅思不是一所学校啊

　　雅思（International English Language Testing System，简称IELTS，中文名为国际英语语言测试系统）是由英国文化协会（The British Council，即英国驻华大使馆/总领事馆文化教育处）、剑桥大学考试委员会（CESOL）和澳大利亚教育国际开发署（IDP Australia）共同举办的国际英语水平测试。此项考试是为申请赴英语国家（美国、英国、澳大利亚、加拿大、新西兰等）留学、移民的非英语国家学生而设，用来评定考生运用英语的能力。

　　威海的不了解。我是在青岛圣约翰雅思学校读，当时只是听朋友推荐去看了看，但是发现那边的老师跟其他学校的老师很不一样，都是澳洲派来的，授课模式也跟大陆的完全不一样。因为当时时间紧迫，我就去读了他们一个三周的课程，上帝保佑，我本来以为希望不大，但是一次性拿到了成绩，其中听力7.5分，阅读6.5，写作口语都是6分。后来才知道，这个学校本来就是澳大利亚的学校，只做雅思和托福的培训，专业性和针对性很强的

　　大连联邦可以，学校培养出10多名阅读满分的学员，特别是一名雅思写作满分学员，全国只三名。

　　当然需要托福或者雅思了吖，这是入学必备条件 英语水平的考试。不同的学校有不同的要求，包括TOEFL，TOEFL Junior和SLEP等。目前，这三种考试都可以在中国参加。 大多数优秀的私立中学要求学生参加美国的中学入学考试：SSAT或ISEE。这是美国私立中学的标准化考试，在中国都设有考点。语言能力要求是学校的基本要求之一，一般而言，美国高中会要求国际学生提供英语标准化成绩，如：SLEP、TOEFL或SSAT。学校通过英语标准化成绩确定该学生的英语程度，以此来决定该学生是否需要参加ESL语言课程及相应年级和课程的选择。SLEP是专门设计给国际学生去美国念高中而设立的。这个是对国际学生最基本的英文测验，分数是20分到67分。根据分数将大致分为三个等级，就是初级、中级和高级。大约从20-45分是初级，45-55是中级，56-67是高级。如果SLEP测验的分数超过60分，那么说明这个SLEP所测验的水平很难检测出学生真正的英语程度，建议可以考TOEFL。因为SLEP只有听力和简单的语法和阅读测验，并没有像TOEFL（iBT）那样，听说读写四个方面都有涉及。如果英文的TOEFL（iBT）测验有考到79或者以上，则说明学生基本上已经具备了和美国同年龄的小孩同程度的英文能力，这样也就可以考虑选择不需要ESL课程的学校。申请高中的另外一个考试叫SSAT，美国高中入学考试，主要是美国当地学生进入美国私立高中的考试。TOEFL（iBT）考到79分以上的同学，建议可以去考SSAT。SSAT在国内有考试，目前是在上海。
